As some of you may know I have been trying to repair a WD 500gig drive. Today I tried and look up the warranty so that I can return it for repair. Apparently they now only offer 1 year warranties. The last time I purchased drives they came with a 3-5 year warranty.
I guess this is the sign of the times. Make sure you pay attention to those warranties prior to buying the cheapest drive on the market.

Was playing around and discovered if you do the following: <ctrl> “two fingers on the mouse pad and drag up” that the screen zooms in. This is really cool if you want to quickly blow up the screen size but not change any application fonts.
Ok, somewhere between installing firefox on my mac and now they added RSS support inside of Firefox. The only thing that was keeping me on Safari was the RSS feed displays in the toolbar. It now supports this natively instead of loading an external feed program.
I will run Firefox exclusively for the next few weeks and see if I can deal with the program changes.
Angie and I arrived in Ontario, California tonight for The Big Train Show. We will be attending some clinics and have entered our bridge into the scratch building contest.
The bridge was packed in it’s travel box (over 6′ long) and strapped down in the back of the truck. It survived the trip and did not budge an inch in the back of the truck.
