November Highlights
So it has been a pretty busy few weeks. The highlights.
* Cemented boulders into the hill next to the waterfall.
* Dug new hole to place new solid pond (don’t get excited, it’s only just under 4′ in diameter and about a foot or so deep)
* Removed all the keystone bricks and stacked them for future use (more on this later)
* Started moving dirt away from redwoods to back fill the hill. (this is taking a lot longer than I planned because of all the roots that grew in dirt)
* Started filling trenches for sprinklers
* Hooked up new digital controller for sprinklers (pretty cool unit)
* Planted some creeping thyme.
* Pulled out about 50 water hyacthins

1 – I am a private pilot.
2 – I worked at Rockwell in high school and helped build the Space Shuttle Discovery.
3 – I won a gold medal in swimming for the backstroke (1st attempt at the event) on 7/7/77.
4 – I hand built my first rocket at age 7. It landed over a half a mile away.
5 – I have ink.
6 – I can crack my shoulder and it can be heard fifty feet away in a quite room.
7 – I can never have enough trains.
8 – My first computer was a TRS-80.

Housekeeping
Well we survived the fires and I have busy working away in the back yard. I also installed Gallery2. This is super cool! I also have a plugin for iphoto that uploads the photos direct to the server.

So Far So Good
We have been lucky and have escaped the fires. There are still two fingers heading to our area that we will be keeping an eye on.
For those of you with just cell phones and no land lines, you can register your cell phone with the Reverse 911 system
