Hopefully more bands learn that they are not going to make any money from a record company. Did you know that zero of every dollar made goes to the band. I was reading a report that broke down where every penny of each dollar goes. Did you know that the caterers get royalties! (STOP THE MADNESS! There is the real evil.)

Man I was sore today. I guess I was using muscles yesterday pulling out all the muck. I still have a leak somewhere, but it is a lot slower. I will take a look at that later this week.

I spent most of the day scanning in cat photos. These are photos from before the days of digital cameras. I have an awesome HP scanner, but it doesn’t work on the mac. So I have to keep around my PC/Windows system for that.

After that was done, we decided to go do some cloth shopping for our vegas trip. Many every store, but the department stores were jammed packed. Mostly with kids!

Ok, today was a messy day. I decided to go out and start cleaning out the pond. It started well, but then I realized how bad it is to plant egyptian papyrus in water unconfined!

The roots grow into a mass of muck that were almost 5 inches thick. that’s about 1/2 the depth of the stream and upper pond.

I was able to clear out the connection stream, and cleaned out about two thirds of the top pond. The roots did me in. I will have to go back out tomorrow and finish up the job.
