Ok, so I stopped in to best buy today to check out the new DVD’s and try to find a wireless headset for my mac. No luck on either.

I popped my head into the Magnolia store and ran into one of the sales guys that remembered me and asked if I bought my receiver yet. I explained I was waiting to see what would come out for the holiday. We chatted about the current products and decided the right receiver for me to buy is the one I have been looking at for the last six months.

I have been looking at the Pioneer Elite VSX-84TXSi. This unit has all the bells and whistles I could ever need in this decade 😉

It turned out he had one demo unit left and was able to offer it to me for almost 35% off. So I could not resist.

So I looked at the i-Tunes music store tonight and see that they put episode one of Heroes online. But they don’t list if it has been edited. Being the cheapo I am, I won’t pay the $1.99 to find out.

if someone has bought the 1st episode, let me know.

Finally found the bbq and island to get.

I got a four burner unit with an infra-red searing burner. You can see the unit here.

This is a very cool unit, that will go into this island. The unit we are getting is just like this, only the right hand side is the same height as the middle piece.
