Well we survived the fires and I have busy working away in the back yard. I also installed Gallery2. This is super cool! I also have a plugin for iphoto that uploads the photos direct to the server.

We have been lucky and have escaped the fires. There are still two fingers heading to our area that we will be keeping an eye on.

Ok, I decided to accept an invite to facebook. It’s the 1st social network I have participated in. I have found most of these just degenerate into childish bantering so I never got involved.

I like the idea that everything you do has to be authenticated before you can update or add things. Maybe this will survive the pitfalls of some of the older ones.
