Been trying to decide where to go on our 15 year anniversary. So far we have it narrowed down to the following:
Scotland
Hawaii
West Coast Wine tour
National Park Driving tour
Any other ideas? Let us know.

Ok I want to thank the orleans hotel for ruining a great stay. We took our luggage downstairs. Angie forgot one thing in the room and went back to get it before we checked out. Our keys didn’t work. Angie asked the housekeeping staff to open the door. They refused. They were asked to call someone to open the door and they refused.
I went to the front desk and told them of my problem. They gave me a new key, and I walked all the way back up. They new key didn’t work! Now, I am mad, but still calm. I go to the house phone and call the operator. I explain our problem, she transfers me to some department called “key security”. This person refused to help. He told me to go all the way down to front desk and have them give me a new key. I already explained that I did this already and the key didn’t work. He said there was nothing he could do to help me.
Now I was pissed. I insisted that he get someone up here to open the door. He refused. I then noticed a bell-hop walking down the hallway. I then hung up and flagged him down. I explained the problem and then asked him to open our door. He then called down to confirm my id and then let me in the room.
After that, I went down and talked to the hotel manager. I explained what happened, but she didn’t seem sympathetic. All she said, was she was sorry and they had some key problems that morning. She said that they should have sent someone up.
I could not believe their complete lack of customer service. I do not think we will be staying at this hotel again or any of their other properties. I will write them a letter, but I doubt it will do any good.
Tonight we went to see Mamma Mia. If you like music that tells a story, this musical is for you. With entertaining performances by the cast and great sounding music this musical will have you tapping your feet and clapping your hands.
Don’t miss this musical if you have the opportunity to see it.
Today we went to the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel. We took the behind the scenes tour and learned all the secrets of how they do their really cool show. We were sworn to secrecy so I can’t tell you how they did it… (well at least not without some drinks in me).
One thing we learn was that Marina Sirtis came to the experience and sat in her chair through several performances of the show. She stayed in character throughout the performances.
We also rode the new Borg encounter. It was pretty good, but just not as good as the Klingon encounter. We had drinks at Quark’s. We say a huge drink. It’s called a Warp Core Breach. It has 20 oz of alcohol in it.
I also added to my collection of tribbles and got an updated copy of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition.
Well we headed over to the coke-bottle today. This is where you can buy 2 for 1 movie tickets.
Nothing good (or at least what we have not seen already) was being offered.
We shopped instead. I bought a new shirt and Angie got a sweatshirt. We purchased a Vanilla Coke float, and waited for Trevor and Kerry. We walked around the strip for a while. Pretty much the boring usual stuff.
That evening we went and saw Le Reve. This was a totally awesome show. If you see only one Dragone production in Vegas, make sure it is this one. Warning! The first three rows will get wet.
