Day 6 - Sunday, May 21th

We got up and drove to McDonalds for breakfast. Angie got a Yogurt Parfait and I skipped breakfast. Today was another day to go cave exploring.

We arrived at Wonder World. We took their cave tour and explored their earthquake formed cave. This was the first earthquake cave we have been in. The tour was a lot of fun, and I got to play around with my night vision settings on my camera. We will see how they came out. Look for them on the web site. After the cave tour we went into their anti-gravity house. This is pretty cool if you have never been. It's all an illusion, but it sure feels real.

After the anti-gravity house we boarded their train and went into the wild life park. They had a ton of deer that you can feed. They had some other animals like peacocks, ostriches, Llamas, Pheasants, Bearasinga, Goats and more. The San Diego Zoo has nothing to worry about.

We headed to Aquarena Springs. This is a nice little park that is run by the local University. There was a neat little Texana town. The town's general store still had some supplies that were from the 1800's. There was a nice little aquarium we spent some time in and toured while we where waiting for the glass bottom boat tour.

The glass bottom boat tour was really neat. The river was full of hot springs and we could see where they would pop out in the sand. We saw an albino catfish. That was way cool. A number of famous people had come to this site to swim in the hot springs.

They were having a fly-fishing show there so we didn't get to see everything in the park. Some of the park was closed because of the show.

Afterwards we drove to factory outlets in San Marcos. We stopped at Bennigan's for lunch. On the way to the outlets we saw a sign on the side of the highway that claimed there was a china replacement center there. We never found it. There was a pfalzgraff store there, but they didn't have our fine china. Angie found a Disney Outlet store and found a really cute outfit. So for her it was a productive stop.

We headed back to San Antonio and had dinner at the Rhein Steak House. The food was very good, but the service was not. For one of the best steak houses in San Antonio, I was a little disappointed.

We had a busy day so we headed back to the room to get some sleep.
