Ok I want to thank the orleans hotel for ruining a great stay. We took our luggage downstairs. Angie forgot one thing in the room and went back to get it before we checked out. Our keys didn’t work. Angie asked the housekeeping staff to open the door. They refused. They were asked to call someone to open the door and they refused.<\/p>\n
I went to the front desk and told them of my problem. They gave me a new key, and I walked all the way back up. They new key didn’t work! Now, I am mad, but still calm. I go to the house phone and call the operator. I explain our problem, she transfers me to some department called “key security”. This person refused to help. He told me to go all the way down to front desk and have them give me a new key. I already explained that I did this already and the key didn’t work. He said there was nothing he could do to help me.<\/p>\n
Now I was pissed. I insisted that he get someone up here to open the door. He refused. I then noticed a bell-hop walking down the hallway. I then hung up and flagged him down. I explained the problem and then asked him to open our door. He then called down to confirm my id and then let me in the room.<\/p>\n
After that, I went down and talked to the hotel manager. I explained what happened, but she didn’t seem sympathetic. All she said, was she was sorry and they had some key problems that morning. She said that they should have sent someone up.<\/p>\n
I could not believe their complete lack of customer service. I do not think we will be staying at this hotel again or any of their other properties. I will write them a letter, but I doubt it will do any good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
